Guest
Whatever this vehicle was, it was short & narrow. I'm hoping the body line will help I.D. it. Any specific measurements or pics needed please let me know & I'll get them. Thanks,Jeremy
keiser31
Looks to be an American Austin Bantam rear area. The business coupe had a blanked out quarter window. Edited December 15, 2013 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Guest
Thank you! I need to go research American Bantams. Thanks again!I heard of this company but didn't know how many different body styles they made. Funny how its called a coupe....I always wanted a coupe....never knew I had one. Curti
I think that the three window business coupe was only common to the 1930-34 American Austin. The later 1938-40 Austin Bantam's were a different car.

Dave Henderson
Many years ago I saw stored in the basement of a house in the Maryland suburbs of D.C. two American Austins with their rear sections removed and ice cream ice boxes installed there, making them into nifty little "good humor" type vehicles. Long shot, but I wonder if there could be a connection.
