Guest groinky
Hopefully someone can give me guidance on a 1929 Series 13 gas gauge. The car has a white faced ammeter and a white faced hydrostatic oil pressure gauge. However it has a black faced electric gas gauge. The car is a 130 and the parts book says cars before a certain production number had an electric gauge and later ones had the King Seeley hydrostatic gauge. My car number indicates it would be the electric gauge but the car has the capillary line running from the gas tank to the gauge which indicates it had an hydrostatic gauge at one time. All in all I have conflicting indicators which is not at all unusual. Any advice would be appreciated. Also any leads on a 2 and one quarter inch diameter white faced hydrostatic gas gauge. The same gauge was used in 135's and 137's. Thanks Jim

Guest groinky
Thanks. I saw this gauge and I agree with you that the seller wants too much for a gauge that may not work.

Guest groinky
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\good morning Dick; Is it possible to also get a photo of the shutter control handle mount and the cigar lighter. I have the shutter control handle that looks correct but there is no mounting bracket. Similarly I have the cigar lighter but nothing else. I'm trying to figure out how to mount both of these items. Best Regards Jim
odat
I do not know how to post pictures but just sent them to Steve. Also I had a brain cramp and described my series 16 dash. I should say too many Franklins but that is impossible Edited December 15, 2013 by Steve Braverman (see edit history)
Guest groinky
Thanks Dick. I agree there can never be too many Franklins in the garage.
