HistoryBuff
I have been following this car; apparently the King of Morocco never bought it in 1955 after a Moroccan dealer purchased it hoping for a Royal sale. A US engineer in that country bought the car and imported it. A later owner was identified American Diplomat Armand Archer, who kept it until 1985. I'd be curious to know what it sold for then. It must have been a "barn find" because it ws "off the map" and forgotten for something like 20-30 years. One wierd thing about it is that it lacks bumpers where most other Ghia built Chrysler show cars have them.
