motoringicons
SOLDIf you enjoy big cars that can haul your whole crew and appreciate originality, it doesn't get much better than this 1954 Oldsmobile 98. This car was sold new at Reghilto Motors in Antioch, CA. It appears to have lived there for quite some time. We have documentation showing until at least 1983.From there we show receipts from a new owner around '98 - '99 who had the car in Nevada, Alaska and Illinois. This car has been well traveled throughout its life and although it shows about 125K miles, it has held up wonderfully. It is very original and well preserved, still wearing its original paint (Cadet blue over Capri blue) and having the original interior. It has been very well taken care of over the past almost 60 years. The underbody and chassis are solid and straight. The fenders, rockers, door sills, are nice as well. The doors open and close like a new car and have even gaps and margins. The interior, door panels and headliner are in respectable original condition. The documentation we have with this car shows that the front-end had a complete rebuild about 8000 miles ago. At that time it received all new brakes including wheel cylinders, shoes and drums. 4000 miles ago it received new radial whitewall tires. Recently it has had the carburetor rebuilt, a new wiper motor and a new fuel pump. This car starts, runs, drives and stops very well. It is really a nice driving old car. This Oldsmobile is well equipped with the Hydra-matic transmission, power steering, power brakes, EZ-EYE glass, AM radio, courtesy lights, and Autotronic Eye. The price is a super reasonable 10,000.00 considering it is a ready to use and enjoy 1950s “orphan” cruiser. I don’t think it will last long at this price. Located near Jefferson, Wisconsin and, of course, it is being sold with a clear title. Please call 734-730-4274 or email: motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a viewing or for more information. Thank you. Edited July 20, 2014 by motoringicons (see edit history)

rocketraider
Load off my mind! Now I might not be so tempted by this car! The 54 Ninety Eight sedan is among my favorite cars- it just oozes 50s class and elegance.
