auburnseeker
That's a great car. I can't believe someone didn't buy it yet when you look at the rough (really rough and rusted)one on ebay that got bid and sold to almost half of your asking price. Guest 33chrysler
That's a great car. I can't believe someone didn't buy it yet when you look at the rough (really rough and rusted)one on ebay that got bid and sold to almost half of your asking price. That car on ebay was a 32 Roadster not a convertible coupe, a completely different animal. It sold for a little over 13,000. It originally got bid up to 18,000 and sold but the bidder diddn't follow thru. If the owner of the two 33's would split them up they would have already sold. For those of us on the west cost it would cost us better than 2 grand per car to ship them and the parts car is only worth low teens. On the good car the top and upholstery would have to be removed so the car could be dipped or blasted. In case anyone is interested they were listed on ebay with a buy it now of 35k. Here are the pictures.
auburnseeker
I know the difference between the 2 but I would consider them comparable especially given the advanced degree of decay of the 32 Roadster. Every panel had rot where it joined every other panel. Not rust, genuine rot. This car on the other hand appears to be in very , very good shape. Not to mention the condition of all the rechromed and rebuilt parts. I think the parts car this one comes with is in better shape than that roadster. The top on this car if I'm not mistaken, comes off real easy just like my 36 Chrysler. Unsnap the snaps and pull 2 bolts and it's off. I'm sure that interior could be completely removed in under 2 hours as well. It's a really good car. Hope it finds a good home.
