In all these years the pistons may have been changes,,,

On your purchase order,,,add to info,,,the no of comp rings

the no of oil rings,,,,AND the width of each groove

If its a re-ring only,,Take out the top ridge,,,and do a light hone

rags to keep the crap out of the sump,,

Look at Packard rings,,as I recall the big Packard had same bore an stroke,

but different ring width an no of comp rings,,etc,,4rings vs 3rings

Hope this helps,,Ben in Maine

OOOps didnt notice the location,,

e/m me directly,,adss top left of this box/form,,CB

Currant replacement pistons are more likely 3 ring,,,the older pistons are 4 ring

I think your engine more likely has the original pistons,,not newer replacment pistons,,

Beside ,,,finding a replacment engine are small to nil,,now or prevous date,,,

Cheers,,Ben

Original Wiring is a little different on these cars, wire is run in flexible steel conduit, with enclosed junction boxes here and there.... I don't know anyone replicating that original style, but any of the wiring guys in the US could make a woven harness...haven't bought a harness for a while but Narragansett, Y&Z, Rhode Island are some of the names I remember....I'm sure someone else will chime in...

The restorations of the old conduit system that i have seen were very good indeed,,

With the modern insulation they should be much better than the original,,

Cheers,,Ben
