auburnseeker
I was at a swap meet and found this in a box of parts. It has really nice cloisonee , but the thin chrome inlay came off over the years. I can't think of any cars with a V10. Maybe it was a 10 series? Any ideas? stexch
My suspicion is that this was not original equipment, but was put on a commercial fleet vehicle to identify it, e.g. bus, ambulance, or heavy truck.
nzcarnerd
It is from a Ford Prefect - http://www.simoncars.co.uk/ford/e093a.html - 10 for 10 hp to distinguish it from the 8 hp models. Not sure exactly which years this one was used but no doubt there is a Ford expert out there who can be more specific.
auburnseeker
Thanks for the ID. I would have searched forever and never figured it out. I always forget about the various foreign makes that were produced over the years.
