post-88682-143142274578_thumb.jpgSorry, I try to always post my problem solutions. There have just been so many....

Anyway the pickup has to be changed out to Ford type, I believe Lincoln went to the same thing later then 1938. The fix for the pickup is: oil pump pickup and screen and cover-Ford, year 1932-1938. P/N 8RT-6615-KT for "Mac's Antique Auto". I sure other old Ford suppliers carry them also.

The oil pan and tray have to be modified to accept this larger pickup and you need to nudge the pickup around to make sure it sits off the oil pan but not to high.

My hat is off to "Peecher" helping me solve this problem.
