JACK M
There was an early one on the Eugene OR C/L about a year ago. Total rust bucket and haven't seen it lately. Maybe they put it out of its misery.
c49er
There is a blue one in Norway or somewhere in Europe. It was in the Seattle area up till about 10 years ago. Not that you will buy it but....Type in 1942 DeSoto Business coupe on youtube and you will see it. A good solid rust free car. I used to keep it running for the owner. Doc Hubler
Very few of these 3 window coupes left, period. I have a 42 club coupe (not parting with that), and I know there was one for sale around Eugene area about 1-2 years ago. didn't sell on Ebay and went back to storage garage. Nice car, and very similar to mine. There is a 42 Dodge 3 window coupe for sale in Texas. Not sure if it has sold or not. Found on the HAMB. Doc Hubler
Here's a 41 listed for sale on Ebay in Maine. Nice looking car. Not a 42, but still rare and pre-war. seems like a very reasonable price for the condition.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Beautiful-Antique-1941-DeSoto-Deluxe-Business-Coupe-in-Excellent-Condition-/300980328430?_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&forcev4exp=true
Carola
IT was not Norway! I bought the Business Coupe from Mr Reis. IT was exported to me in Sweden. The film on youtube was made outside of my house. Unfortenatly i had to sell her again and she is now in Nurnberg Germany and is very loved. I miss her every day! Ron42Dodge
There was a write-up in 2013 in Old Cars about a junk yard tour where one of the cars they had was a 1942 Desoto business coupe next to a club coupe. c49er
I told him he was stupid to let Chrysler have the S10 convertible.So...It went to a guy in Texas who is now restoring it. Hopefully it will stay here in the states as rare as it is.He sold the Cord approx 3 years ago.
