1919 peerless points/rotor

I need points and a rotor for a 1919 Peerless 7 Passenger Sedan. Does anyone have a source or cross reference

I sent my Atwater-kent distributor to the Burton Norton Company at 0-1545 W Leonard Rd. Grand Rapids, Michigan49544-9512 1-616-677-1209 They altered it to use 1960 thru 1973 Ford V-8 points. This was ten years ago and it still works great. RHL

I can't remember, but my rotor and cap were not in bad shape. Give them a call and see what they can do. I'm not sure if they are still in business. RHL

I understand that a reprint was made of the Peerless V8 service manual. Does anyone know if it is still available

I read in the club newsletter about 3 years ago that The Green Dragon had re-printed a small run of Peerless V-8 Manuals (5 or 10?) and had one left for sale. Whether they covered the whole car or just the engine, I don't know. You'd think there'd be a small market for these -- but there are actually quite a few surviving Peerless V-Type Eights out there.

The Peerless service manual for the model 56 series 1 thru 5 is not a best seller, but if you own one of these Peerless cars it is a very important manual to have. It is not only a service manual for the chassis and engine but has the service bulletins with the upgrades that Peerless did on this engine. Wiring diagrams, Ball & Ball manual and many plates. I have had one for years but it was soft cover and getting a little rough, so I had it reprinted and hard bound in book form. I have two left and my cost is $60. RHL
