keiser31
Looks like about a 1925 Roamer.....kinda. It probably isn't, but the radiator shell is VERY similar to Rolls Royce and Roamer. Guest Bill Christen
Thanks, for the quick response. I wonder if the rear window shape and solid wheels are good clues.
Layden B
More likely Moon.
DLynskey
1925 looks to be about right for the year. It could also be an Elcar which had the almost identical radiator shape. Try this link for a photo -- I haven't tried posting a link before.Elcar Cars
DLynskey
Layden B,I believe you pegged it. Let's see if I know how to include a photo from the Internet of a "mid 1920's Moon coupe" :http://www.oldcarsweekly.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/1923.Moon_.3-copy1.jpghttp://www.oldcarsweekly.com/features/unbelievable_barn_findCould it be the same car? As I read it, this one was in Maryland.Don Edited July 15, 2013 by DLynskey Trying to fix links (see edit history)
Guest Bill Christen
You gentlemen have nailed it! The round rear window, radiator shape, solid wheels, the radiator cap emblem and the sail panel to body details all match. There is a picture of a 1923 Moon Coupe at this Moon Car Club web site.
