Guest Jefferyscott
The first several hundred miles of travel in my 47' Windsor sedan have been extraordinary. The carb which had worked well, began flooding. After researching the forum (excellent resource) I dismantled/cleaned carb, prepared for journey home. One small piece has me puzzled (See photo). With the manual 50 miles away I am looking for an answer.

Note accelerator pump in upper right, and dashpot in lower left of OP's carb picture.Diagram is for BBR without the internal dashpot.Jon.

Guest Jefferyscott
Thanks fellas for trying to help me out. The pin is still a mystery. Could it have been literally in the bottom of the float bowl?
Guest Jefferyscott
In other words the pin doesn't belong in this setup? Or was an alternate size float pin when this carb was last rebuilt? In 2005?
