1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible. This is an extremely correct and well restored car that has been maintained to very high standards throughout. Upon close inspection, this car has never seen any abuse, any rust, any patches or repairs. It was always a good car. The tunis green paint is excellent showing hardly any signs of wear. The panel fit and finish in excellent throughout with even gaps and margins on the doors, deck lid and hood. The upholstery and top are in excellent condition. The chrome appears like new. The original flathead V8 engine starts easily and propels the car down the road with ease. It is quiet, does not smoke or overheat and makes plenty of power. The steering is light and responsive, the brakes stop the car straight and square, the transmission shifts easily, etc. It has several period and factory accessories including fog lights, bumper guards and tips, radio, heater, etc. This is a wonderfully presented and nimble Ford V8 that would be a pleasure to show or drive.
