My re-born 1949 Chrysler Windsor convertible

My re-born 1949 Chrysler Windsor convertible. There is still more work to be done. (A keen eye will notice that I am missing the belt line molding - a long term search). But I am very proud of the way she looks now. I would like to thank all those who offered advice and suggestions including my Regional President Rusty Tillitson, Jon Kingston, C49er, another ratman, ply33, hilgretasmom1, jazzer3, keisr31 and a host of others. The car is a Silver Anniversary model and was an earlier restoration that was used for the movies including "La Bamba." I have owned the car for 25 years but garaged her for about about 20 of those. She is getting my full attention now.

It looks just like the one my father handed me the keys to in 1957. My first car. I loved it. Lots of good memories there. Kept it until I got out of the Airforce in 1962 and bought a 1958 Windsor 2 dr htp.
