LOL.... he's hooked ! I can tell your enjoying it now...

That last frame looks like it's in very good condition. Is that yours and have you restored the frame ? Still don't know how and why your labelling the 1 1/2 ton a W30 though.... seems like thats a F30 for sure. Please explain so we can all understand

The 36 Government truck, our customer started the resto the passed. We bought it back. Mike sold him the truck about 5 years ago. The 31-32 truck is a F30. That's why I ask how do I go in and correct it?

post-78906-143141877815_thumb.jpgAny ideas? Have more info tomorrow. I'll have the W.B. and check frame #s on the R.H. side of frame, under front fender-near front spring-rear bracket on the 21 to 27. 27 to31, L.H. on frame-just back of front spring-front bracket. What year would you guess? W.B. 116".B.

post-78906-143141877874_thumb.jpgThis is a interesting truck. 129th unit made starting in may 1935. So that would make it a late 2nd series 1935 or early 1936. The 2 nd series trucks had regular doors and a solid roof with a rounded crank out windshield. This has a wooden roof like the canopy trucks. But the MODEL# K-31-V would stand for a 34 or 35. It's a 1 1/2 TON truck with single rear wheels with a fender. 9 foot box lined with wood. A raised roof with a closed of back cab. A push out windshield with suicide doors. 3 hole dash with glove box.

My guess would be one of only 2 years. It's either a 26 or a 27, and I'm leaning more to the 26. The wheelbase should be 137" by the way. I'm not showing any 136" wb units made prior to 31, everything before 31-32 was 137" wb for what it's worth.

Mike sure had an eye for rare stuff.

Just the shape and the design of the radiator shroud...

Maybe not a Buick but doesn't look anything like a GB/DB truck radiator from what I've seen in my own personal studies. It was just a guess but I have no idea what that radiator is from, just going off memory of looking at some Buicks last year. Maybe try going to the general discussion section and posting a "What is this radiator from" thread... they seem to be very helpful groups from all makes of vehicles and I'm sure someone would recognize it. Here in the Dodge Truck forum your going to get very limited traffic to help indentify it. Just my suggestion.

Very curious to know what you find out about the truck.

Not a GB/DB radiator since it has the wrong shape. What are the headlights? Not a G-Boy since it has a a six cylinder engine. Not an "E" series truck since the belt line molding does not extend to the firewall.

Looks like a collection of parts.

We really need the frame number over the front drivers side shackle mount and the engine number located near the valve covers on front of passenger side. This would pretty well end the discussion.
