nzcarnerd Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 It certainly looks like a Franklin - 1914 I think, the first year of left hand drive. Note the full elliptic front springs, the manner in which the crank handle is tied off to one side etc. The only thing missing are the 'lips' from the front edges of the front fenders. Vintman Posted March 31, 2013 Share Posted March 31, 2013 Hi,Not a Renault. The scuttle bonnet (hood) was a common European feature 1900-1904ish. Renaults had either a scuttle rad or two external rads running along each side of the bonnet. We have looked at this car and have not found any to match.
