Bill Sorensen
My Mangusta does not get driven as often as it should and lately the times I drive it, the shifter seems to be stiffer and stiffer.I lubricated all the linkage and it seems to be fine. The problem seems to be inside the gearbox. Does anyone have any ideas of where I should start looking or has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks in advance for any help...Bill Sorensen

Bleach
Is it filled with ATF or gear oil? Gear oil will make it stiff. It should have ATF.
RiKi5156B
Is the clutch disengaging completely between shifts? Does it grind going from neutral to first? That would indicate a clutch adjustment or rebleed clutch system if it’s hydraulic.
alsancle
Perhaps completely unrelated, but with some transmissions, the more they sit, the worse they shift, and the more you drive them the better they shift. I've always assumed that getting the oil splashed everywhere was the reason.
