Ferrari 375 America ex-Agnelli car, green with red interior

Recommended Posts

I admired this car when it was being driven around by its rescuers, the two college professors in Orange,CA who collect Ferraris. I looked at the list on barchettacc.com of former owners and it surprises me that some sold it before it reached its primme (value) to speak. Now it is way over a million dollars I am sure. Does anyone think like me that the modern tendency to paint cars only the color they came in originally kept it from being saved earlier because emerald green outside and bright red inside is hard to take (unless you're Santa Claus).

Or was it that the car had a vertical grille when most other Ferraris had horizontal ones? Or that the car had a Lampredi V12 design instead of the Colombo design? I just can't figure out why it lay undiscovered for so long when it was a one-off famous-owner car.
