Floor shims

Finally tackling the floor replacements. Does anyone know the setup for the under-floor wooden shims? I have a '47 LCC with the X-frame, and under each cabin floor are a set of wooden blocks spanning the gap between the panels and the frame. Each is held in with a bolt through the sheet and into the x-member. It looks like they are different thicknesses.

I've tried getting a measurement, but they're mostly falling apart. I'm trying to see if they keep the sheet level across the rockers, or if they are slightly higher than the sills, slightly tenting the panels. I know they are there to strengthen the floors under the front seat, I'm just trying to make sure I make them the right height.
