Not Always A Good Day For A Buick

I was inspired to start this thread by one of Dave G.'s posts on the "Love the Picture Of.." thread. He posted a few pictures of wrecked Buicks with the tag line, "It's not always a good day for a Buick." I have copied those pictures over to this thread. I found the rest of these pictures on the 'net. I also ran across a thread started on here back in '07 by none other than Mr.Earl hisself entitled "Buick Crashes!". A lot of the pictures on that thread are gone now so rather than re-start that one, I made this one. A few of the pictures on this one can be credited back to that thread. I'll include a link below if you would like to go back and look at the original thread.

I would also like to add that my intent here is not to offend. I have stayed away from anything modern and from anything that I considered to be too gory. Feel free to add any pictures you might have but try to be respectful to others by following the guidelines I mentioned. There has always been a fascination with vintage wreck pictures. I like to look at them as a reminder to be safe in our old cars. They are not as "rock solid" as some would have you believe. Life is fragile and can end in the blink of an eye. Be safe out there while driving your old Buick! On with the show....

Robert, that is one mashed up 57 in those first set of pictures. He had to be going pretty quickly to mash that bumper up like that! Only because I know how massive that dang thing is to hang it on the front of the car!! :)

I was hoping you would add some pictures to the thread Lamar. That '50 in the third pic down up there is CRAZY. If it wasn't for the grill pieces on the front I'd never know it was even a car, let alone a Buick! I like the '50 above that one too. They say that guy really needed some new loafers! :D

Here's one I found. Not actually a Buick in the crash, but there IS a Buick dealership in the background. Close enough I guess.

The oldest car (on the first input) is a Nash 1918-1920.

Leif in Sweden

Whoops! Good eye Leif! That came in a batch of pictures I downloaded and was labeled as a Buick. I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention.
