Brand - Carter

Vol. (?) - 4 to 5 p.s.i.

Location - as close to the gas tank as possible, but not below frame/undercarriage.

Carter is a vein pump. Airtex is a pulse pump. Both put out around 4 pounds. In both cases put the fuel filter between the tank and pump. Vein pumps are particularly suseptible to any forign matter.

I run mine right thru the original pump on the block for a stock appearence.

Carter is a vein pump.

Actually, the Carter would be a VANE type pump, not something that pumps blood through veins...

Seriously, why do you think you need an electric pump? In any case, as noted above, electric pumps are better at pushing, so put it as close to the tank as physically possible, and as low as possible while still protected from thrown rocks, etc.
