avgwarhawk
The 60 Imperial uses a hydraulic brake light switch at the master cylinder. Has anyone had success with a newer replacement switch? If so where was the switch purchased? When replacing did the brake master and system need to be bled?
JACK M
You can buy that switch at your local parts store. I think its an 1/8th pipe thread. Probably dont need to bleed but you may have someone slowly press the pedal while you tighten it up to purge what little air may get in there. avgwarhawk
I had thought the same on the purge switch if it is replaced. I have purged MC the say by cracking the fittings open as the pedal is pushed to the floor. Beats cracking open the wheel cylinders if not needed! Thanks!
