Guest Concours_d_Elegance
If it is the intent of the club to feature vintage and period custom motorcycles then, perhaps, they should consider calling them, "Bob Jobs" as it is the period correct term for these types of bikes. "Bobber" is a new, hipster, yuppie word.We will take that under advisement. Do you have a bike you'd like to submit for consideration?
bruffsup
Here is my period bobber, inspired by my late friend John "JD' 2 Cameron, founding Boozefighter. The bike is an ohv Koslow twin carb twin port , 84" converted HD big flathead in a 34 Vl frame with strutted VL forks and twin front brakes etc. Can't make the concours and really not my thing anyway but thought you might like to see the bike. Guest Concours_d_Elegance
That's a nice bike - it's too bad you can't make the event, we really would have liked to see it on the field.
