keiser31
For some reason I am thinking it may be for a Chrysler or DeSoto Airflow grille emblem maybe? I have seen that part before....just cannot remember exactly on what. Edited December 17, 2012 by keiser31 (see edit history)
keiser31
Oh....here we go.....Airflow. Shaped different, but same design. This is a '34.
keiser31
New research of mine shows it to be for a 1935 Chrysler Airstream front emblem backing as far as I can tell.

marty14
looking more closely at the one pictured and mine I noticed some differences: mine has no curvature at the top end and at that end (my picture at the far right end) it is not shaped the same as the one in the other picture. Possibly another model that year?
keiser31
Could be. I am not that familiar with the 1935 or 1936 Chryslers. I just saw that it looked like a close match. The one I show above is the Chrysler Airflow item which I know is different. The Airstream, however looks more like yours from what I saw on Google.
