Guest 49 New Yorker Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 I reinstalled the reconditioned water pump on my 49 New Yorker and now the fan makes a clicking noise ie its catching on the flywheel or something . Is there an adjustment I can make ?First thing as Clare states, make sure you havent got a cracked blade !! they are a lethal weapon if thrown off whilst rotating; even worse if your body is in the way.Have you turned the fan with the belt removed ? this will quickly determine if its catching on something.
