r1lark
George, the ebay ad says "As you can see from the enclosed 1955 "The Automobilist" article, written by Keith Marvin, all of this is well documented."...........but there is no copy of the article in the ebay ad. Can you post here?
George Albright
Here you go! See attached page from the 1955 The Automobilist magazine whereby historian Keith Marvin interviews his friend C.W. Kelsey, builder of the car. Chassis was stored in the Troybilt factory in Troy N.Y. in the late 1920s and brought down its freight elevator around 1970. Always stored inside. Kelsey founded Troybilt. For serious parties I can supply lots of photos of the Kelsey chassis and Kelsey Wheel Co. touring body. Just contact me at gnalbright@gmail.com Sincerely George

George Albright
Kelsey built several hundred of the 3 wheeled cars from around 1910-12. He then built his first friction drive 4 wheeled prototype in 1916, and my second prototype in 1917. The production 4 wheeled friction drive Kelseys were built from 1920-23 in New Jersey. Several hundred were built. NONE survive! Approx 1 to 2 dozen or so of the 1910-12 3 wheeled ones survive. George
