skip1954
I have replaced my rubber on the vent windows, all hardware is in good shape the passenger side works perfectly, the driver side is sitting low in the rubber there is a small gap at the top. Does anyone know how to adjust the alignment so that the window will sit in the rubber properly ? Any help ?
Guest gatz
this is from a '40 vent window, but it's probably the sameIs it possible that when putting the window back in the frame that some of these parts got in the wrong place or assembled incorrectly? Also, there's a chance that the square shoulder that is a "stop" for the upper stamping that looks like an elongated washer is worn and has slipped through the washer.
