nzcarnerd
Likely to be a truck engine I reckon. Any sign of any stamped numbers or casting marks? The way the gearbox is attached would be a clue.
oldford
There are several places where it is just like my EMF engine and several places where it is different. The exhaust manifold and intake appear to be exactly the same, but my water pump and magneto are on the left side, while your engine has the mounts for this on the right side. Even the manifold clamps are the same. The aluminum crankcase casting is much heavier on yours and, of course, my transmission is in the rear, bolted to the differential. Other than the differences, it's the same....Frank
nzcarnerd
This engine looks as though it might have had covers over the valve chests which would suggest a later date. It is quite different in the crankcase casting and mounting system to the EMF. A quick measure of the outsides of the cylinders in the valve chests might give an idea of the bore size.
