Guest PierceA33
This is a photo of my Dad in the 1920's with his car. Can anyone tell what year and make it is? thanks Doug
nzcarnerd
Haven't worked out what it is yet but I reckon the date of the car is 1921-23 - note no front brakes, and also the style of lights. The top is an aftermarket item - possibly a Rex California top. I am guessing a medium size six. The distinctive feature is the moulding on the valances/splash guards.Maybe a Lexington?? nzcarnerd
Sorry, don't have much info on Lexington apart from what is in The Standard Catalog. I think there was an article in Cars and Parts magazine many years ago about the whole conglomerate at Connersville.
nzcarnerd
I haven't found any real proof but I think this car might be a 1923 Westcott.
