Grandpa
It looks like the speedometer has a top speed of three digits. Thus, I would guess a large car from about 1924 to 1928.Grandpa
Layden B
When did gas sending units for remote electric gauges start?
Grandpa
I think that electric gasoline tank sending units were used in some high-end cars circa mid-1920s. The attached image is a 1927 Duesenberg dashboard. The gas gauge is a separate instrument on the right side. The circular gas gauge and its location are correct and original.Grandpa
West Peterson
For Packard, the electric gauge began in 1932.

sambarn
Also it looks like the black face version of a 27 Marmon e-75. Are you selling this? I'd be interested.http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/photo/163702,12853/1927-Marmon-Model-E-75_photo.aspx Edited May 3, 2012 by sambarn (see edit history)
