Vintman
Hi Folks,Had enquiry from a historical trust looking after an old property in the UK who have received some photos from the public for their records. This one looks very American and according to the UK registration number is cca 1917/18. Painted photo makes ident difficult but appears to have a deeply scalloped bonnet. Only car I can think that still had such deep scallops is a White. While some of the body features match, spokes and wheelnuts confuse, as does position of the lamps. Would much appreciate any thoughts. Not much on the 1917/18 Whites in the info I have. I am guessing that the round disc above the registration plate is either a military or a taxi sign. Does not seem to be big enough for a lamp.RegardsVintman (UK)www.svvs.org
