Trying to ID Two Cars in Photo

This is a photo of a filling station I used to work at (many years after this picture was taken). I've posted the photo on a Facebook page with pictures from my old hometown and everyone is trying to figure out (1) when this photo was taken, and (2) what kind of vehicle is inside the garage (the teal blue wagon/truck of some kind).

So if anyone could help from the photo below: 1. What year is the white car parked outside? 2. What make & model (and year?) is the blue vehicle inside the garage?

I truly appreciate any assistance, even something close would be a big help.

Casper, thank you! I had been guessing 1960. The station owner's daughter said she'd been told the photo had been taken in the early 50s, and I told her I thought maybe the early 60s, but if this was a 57, it could have been in the late 50s for sure.

That was a big help!

Now if we can figure out that odd looking thing in the garage...:confused:

Looks like a pickup in the bay with a canopy built on the bed

Although there's very little of it showing, there is a car parked behind the gas pumps that I'm fairly certain is a 1959 Oldsmobile. The taillights are visible.
