I don't know anything about your new car, but if you get time to post some pics I would sure like to see them!

The 17 Mitchell Oil Guage is a mechanical oil indicator situated in the centre of the dash. It is a 5/8 inch nickled round disc engraved " oil " with a small rod protruding out the centre. If you have oil pressure the rod will extend revealing it's red colour. if you have no oil pressure ie. STOP NOW then the rod will remain hidden. Super High Tech. We have a mint and complete Mitchell Junior owner's manual and a mint 1917 full line brochure. The owner's manual is very detailed, explains how the gauge works but does not list the capacity. These are available from our library as copies if you need them. The owner's manual has a great lubrication chart as well.
