jeff_a
O.K., Dave.....it looks like it fought off Rommel's Afrika Corps in WWII.....but it still sports its correct windshield, stainless steel rad shell, and vacuum windshield wiper. The half-track conversion is a lot more rugged-looking than most I've seen.....almost looks like a Kegresse system. Dave Mellor NJ
The windshield is worth $100 if it's in good shape, the grille is from a car, an AA being black and thicker. That half track unit is interesting but it has a long way to go to approach 12K.
dwollam
It has been there for a long time. Here are some pics I took of it in December 2007.Note the front windshield being used for a rear window! There were several other old cars there as well, don't recall seeing any "for sale" signs at that time.
trp3141592
Hi,The last Tsar had at least two conversions of Imperial cars to tracked vehicles. The conversions were designed by Adolphe Kegresse. One was a Packard Twin-Six open car and the other was a Rolls Royce. The Rolls survives; don't know about the Packard.--Tom
