ID this Yukon electric High Wheeler

Hi all, This is a friends Grand father, and has been trying to ID this car for years,

It's not an electric - note the large flywheel visible just underneath the body. It looks like a "curve-dash" Oldsmobile c. 1901-1904. Maybe a CDO aficionado can narrow it down and tell you the exact year.

Early 1903 with unusual " stagger spoke" wheels that were used on the curved dash Olds for only part of that year.

Yep, definitely curved dash Olds. There is plenty of info on them if u Google it.

Second photo makes reference to "NWMP", which I'd take to be North West Mounted Police.

The photo is taken during the grand time of the Yukon Gold Rush in Canada.

I thought, when I first saw this pic, that it looks like a curved dash, but buy going on the info on the photo from the Yukon archives statment that it was an electric car, I needed to know.

This photo is well know in the Yukon as the first electric car.

They will be happy to have it properly identified.
