mribbich@wi.rr.com
I have a very old NOS Delco Remy 6 cylinder dist cap, the cap is very heavy for it's size and were the plug wires go in there are treads. Also there is a hole on one side where the clamp lug is. From the books I have it looks like a Delco number 824735 but I am not sure. Thanks for your help!!! 1-262-392-2989 or mribbich@wi.rr.comMarv. drwatson
Packard Library has Filko parts book online with DR-90 cap that looks like yours and interchanges with "Delco 824735". Also listed, a Heavy Duty version DR-90HD, that looks the same: Delco - #1867722. Same application for both. Can't confirm threaded contacts. 1912Staver
The threaded connections are very common on early Delco caps. I don't think it is the style Buick used, so perhaps Packard or Hudson probably early 20's.
