"Lead Zephyr"

My April 2012 subscription issue of Rod & Custom arrived yesterday (1/19). They called it "Leadsled Zephyr" on the cover, but "Lead Zephyr" in the article. They'll probably hear from Boyd Coddington about that.

I would scan the photo, but I would probably get in trouble if I did that.

It looks pretty original but has no bumpers, a '41 Zephyr steering wheel with a column shift plus a lot more modifications.

Yes, there are always collector car ads that say “invested $80,000 (or whatever number, the higher the better) now yours for only $20,000. They NEVER say “Squandered”, Wasted”, “Lost”, “Down the drain” or “Irretrievable”. Yet somehow they have “Invested” in that ‘50 Bathtub Nash, (or whatever).

When I was a younger man I also used the term “Investing” when buying old cars. I have since learned.

My golden years are defiantly financially secure with that kind of investing.
