Guest Jr~
Can someone please help me id the cars on this old photo and what would be the correct name for the large trailer holding these cars? I could not locate a photo like this showing these old cars in transport anywhere. I wonder if that's an old assembly plant in the background.ThanksJr.
Manuel
At a quick glance they all look like 1929 Chevs. (It even says the date)Manuel in Oz
Dave Mellor NJ
That Manny is pretty sharp. See the disc wheels and the louvers only in the back part of the hood side panel

Guest Jr~
Hi, thanks for the replies. So it's a 1926 Chevy vehicle. Is there a certain model number or name for those cars? Thanks again.Jr

Dwight Romberger
My grandfather used similar rigs in the thirties up to WWII to haul Dodge and Chrysler cars from the plant to a dealer in Williamsport and Gratz PA. He received a few more dollars to haul the Chryslers than the Dodges. He had special covers made to protect the cars because as an independent trucker he was responsible for any chips or scratches in the paint during transport. Dave Mellor NJ
Here's a 4 door but more DeLuxe. It might be a "landaulet", where the rear portion of the roof folds down
Guest prs519
I think these pictures also answer a post a month or two ago of a custom made wrecker which we were trying to pin down. Is this not the same front end that that old wrecker had?
