Phaeton
I have attached photos of some grills I am trying to identify. Some of these may be aftermarket replacements. All are cast except for the first one that looks like a Ford to me. Thanks ahead of time for everyone's help.
keiser31
Last one is 1940 DeSoto.
nzcarnerd
Maybe '37 Desoto for the first one. Second one looks to be circa 1940 Chrysler product but not sure which one. Third one might be 1940 Chevrolet. Fourth one - maybe 1941 Plymouth?
Dave Mellor NJ
I believe the first one is the center part of a 40 Deluxe Ford

Guest prs519
Pretty great service, Dave. I wondered if the Studee grilles might be for a later1950 or so Studebaker, though?
Guest prs519
No on 1950 Studebaker, 51 is close. I think I see a crosshatching on the pic of the grille provided, which I do not see on the 39.

nzcarnerd
I think we all agree the 5th one is 1940 DeSoto. Yes the third one is Buick, not Chevrolet. The first one does look more Ford than DeSoto. So far there is a 1940 theme going on. The fourth one looks to have cross bars which don't show up in Dave's 1939 Stude pic - maybe it is 1940 Stude. Anyone got a good closeup of a '40 Stude grille? Seems the odd one out is the second one which I agree looks to be 1941 Mercury.

Dave Mellor NJ
That is a 40 Studebaker not 39. I didn't notice the cross pieces.
