Steve Moskowitz
Hershey has been dealt a severe blow with flooding today. Much of the town is underwater and the damage severe. I am sure some businesses will not be ready for the fall meet. AACA staff may not be able to get to work tomorrow as most roads are closed. We are not sure if our building will get flooded but the surrounding neighborhood is in tough shape. Very sad day for our community. I will post updates later... Shop Rat
As others have said it is very sad that this has happened. Hopefully no harm will come to the irreplaceable items in the Library and HQ building. Our thoughts are with you all.

Bhigdog
Never seen anything like this. Small creeks by my house over topping the bridges, my pond over topping. Creeks rising fast. Still pouring out. I'm high and safe..............Bob

Restorer32
Not sure, their shop is maybe 8-10 feet above the creek so I would think they would be OK so far. We are about 3 miles uphill from them so we never have water problems. They did have some damage in Agnes.

Restorer32
Just talked to Dave Prueitt. They are ok and doesn't look like the water will get high enough to affect them. This one is bad but not nearly like Agnes. Folks in Wilkes Barre and Binghamton have real problems. Sad.

Sad.One thing that has changed since '72 - there are a lot more paved surfaces that don't absorb rainwater than were here in 1972...Hopefully the final outcome will not be as bad as Agnes, but it sure will be a mess...
