keiser31
Saw these in the Hartung videos. Looks to be another Spohn body design. They call the car a 1949 Veritas (race car bred vehicles).
Bleach
I'd agree. The styling appears very Spohn-like.
West Peterson
Basically a 328 BMW with custom body work done right after WWII was over. This one is in fact a Sphon-bodied version. Google it. There is quite a bit of information on the Veritas company. They didn't last long. They picked through the rubble after the war and found as many parts as they could, then built several race cars and custom-bodied passenger cars. StillOutThere
There is a page on Facebook for "Spohn Custom Enthusiasts". Thank you.
Dave Henderson
The Lee Roy Hartung Spohn Veritas was displayed prominently in front of the Giant Center at Hershey in 2011, with nary a speck of dust that was on it having been disturbed, upholding the "barn find" status that seems to spell more $$$. At the Auctions America auction of over 2000 lots of Hartung's collection that followed, the Spohn, needing a complete restoration did in fact bring big money, around 160 K, give or take.
