just me
Need a hand crank for a 1920 6 cylinder Buick. The crankshaft on the engine is 13/16” diameter. The pin in the shaft is 3/8” diameter. The distance from the end of the shaft to the center of the pin is 1”. The ID of the hole in the end of the crank is 7/8”If your cranking shaft/pins have the same dimensions, any crank from 1920 through 1928 (and possibly later) should work. One of the guys that replied to your posting on the forum seemed to indicate the Standard series and Master series were different. I must need the Master series.ThanksCharleykulchar@oh.rr.com Edited August 25, 2011 by just me (see edit history)
Mark Shaw
Charley, Since Buicks had electric starters after 1913, hand cranks for 20s Buicks are somewhat hard to find . Unless you want one for display, I suggest you make one just to use in your shop.
