Guest d55
Need one "spoke nipple" (the cylindrical shaped nut on the threaded end of the spoke) for a Kelsey Hayes 40 spoke wire wheel (15 x 6 1/2) on a 1953 Buick Skylark. Cosmetics not important as long as it is functional. Need this one piece to complete a set of driver wheels. d55conv1@verizon.net
Jolly_John
These folks rebuild all brands of wire wheels, and should be able to sell you the spoke nipple you're after. Good luck! John Dayton Wire Wheels
Guest d55
Thanks John.....called them, and they said that they make all the "spoke nipples" in their shop, and the tooling setup would not warrant the expense for just one item. Hopefully someone might have some used parts left over from a restoration.
