1957 buick tail light housing

howdy i need a tail lite housing for a 1957 buick special pass side or a tail lite assy for a century or a road master for the driver side......my car is a special but i have a pass side to a century they are different thanks ahead of time 818 219 7960 rick

Hi, I am a little confused by your post - the Special/Century are the same and the Super/Roadmaster are the same but the Special/Century does not interchange with the Super/Roadmaster. If you have a Special, then only a housing or assembly from a Special or Century will fit your car.

sorry, i have a special, i found a tail light that will fit my car but it has more ribs on the side and a chrome piece up the middle of the lens, which is pretty cool looking and if i found a match to it i would run it, i thought it was from a century but it must be from a super/roadmaster... looks like it would fit......

Yes, the one you describe is from a Super/Roadmaster. I have never tried swapping these; if you can verify that they do indeed swap size-wise I have several extras I was going to put on Ebay in the near future anyway. the super /roadmaster is larger than the special/century tail lights.i had a small series light on my super and was too small,looked bad.have the correct ones ready to go on.4 bufords from ct

Never thought about switching these things from model to model. But I had always thought that they would be too small for the Super/Roadmasters. Everything else is as well, except for the corner bumper pieces I believe.
