found in a scrap yard... brass emblem riveted onto casting, and interesting threaded holes on back of casting. Approx 5" overall height.

What the heck is it?

Early Pontiac was my guess, but the angle of the threaded holes in the casting is confusing.

I have seen 1929 Chrysler bumper clamps with the same angled holes.

Here is the Chrysler item sans one bolt. It says "STEWART WARNER" on the back and there are part numbers on the clamp and the bent piece. The last photo is a 1927 Pontiac radiator emblem, so maybe the clamp went on the 1927 also.
