Pre - '36 side mount "cup"

Two very helpful BCA members picked this up at Chicasha last year.

However, I needed this cup for a 1939 and these cups were used on earlier cars, I believe pre -1936

I have $35 in the part, just want to break even.

Does this fit 36 or before 1936? I have 36 with dual sidemounts and the cup lookis similiar but no nut with mine. If this does fit I will purchase.

I don't know for sure what year(s) it fits.

Note that this design has a special bolt that screws into the mount.

On the later design (like my '39) There is a pivoting threaded rod attached to the mount and the rod goes through the cup with a special nut holding everything in place.

The later design cup is tapered on the back, where this is flat.

My 36 I believe is the same set up as I have two rods which I believe go thru cup as you describe. Don't think this one fits 36

See my other ad..... I had some 1/4 inch thick plates made because I could not find the cups.

Black wheel with plate is my solution.

Second picture shows the correct part. Note they are made slightly different, I am told that one fits the 80-90 series cars as they have a larger hole in the center of the wheel..... others have said all the wheels are the same (center hole)
