Dual Quad Rear AC Bracket

Looking to buy the rear bracket that attaches the AC compressor to the dual quad intake manifold. The engine is a 1965 401 with aluminum valve covers (thanks Patrick). Thanks.

I have the Trans kickdown bracket for the 2 x 4 set-up - I am thinking about having the rear A/C bracket made as well . You might check with me later if you dont find one .

Are you using the standard valve covers or the aluminum valve covers?

Patrick, that's a good question and something I missed in the initial thread. I'm using the aluminum valve covers. Thanks for asking.

Clark's Corvair has this bracket in their Riviera catalog. It's not a true reproduction but it will allow you to run the taller valve covers with the factory a/c. I've heard from one guy who bought one that it needs a little tweaking to make it fit. I don't know what "tweaks" it took.

I have one of those and 'tweaked' it to make it work. Tweaking involves bending the upper arm forward to meet the hole in the intake manifold. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
