Gear lube

I have a 1937 Buick and the gear lube is transfering from the transmission to the rear end. I must constantly add to the trans. and drain the rear end. Is it a torque ball or rear trans seal ? If so, where can the parts to repair be obtained. ?

Thanks Very Much

Does any one know what seals/gaskets are used between the front of the torque tube and the ball? My 40 special is going back together and I have a new gasket for the t/t flange but I am wondering if their is a seal inside the tube? Mine does not seem to have one. Also I had been told that 40 and 41 transmissions were different, I have a 40 special and a 41 super tranny and they look identical. Any help would be appreciated.Rich
