I just purchased a Stutz 1926 AA Speedster---it was a car owned by Cornelius Vanderbilt III. I am an author who writes books on the Vanderbilts. This is a dream come true. But where do I get part manuals, owners manuals etc on the Stutz AA.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

As a point of interest, if it is an early AA, is it one of the small number of LeBaron speedsters, as mentioned by Hugo Pfau in his book The Custom Body Era? These were recognisably quite different to the later production Black Hawk speedsters, which are naturally better known. There is fair likelihood that Mr Vanderbilt had a LeBaron version, for geographical as well as social reasons.

My Speedster has a tag on it that says American Body Company of Philadelphia. I don't know if that makes it as good as a LeBaron.

How do I determine if LeBaron designed it?

Thanks for helping me figure this out.

I really appreciate it.

Today was the first time I drove the car. It was a terrific feeling.

My best,

Steve
