Fr. Buick
I picked up a set on EBay a few years ago, and had a fight to get them...The box reads "Delco Packard," and the part number of "448-RB."According to the chart on the back of the box, this applies to Buicks '53-56, excluding the '53 40 series. The wires themselves, however, read "Packard 440-USA"Go figure. I have yet to try an install to confirm lengths...
NTX5467
(Mr. Earl's not being picky about the date codes on the wires?)To refresh my memory, are the "Packard 440" wires carbon core resistance wires, or "metallic conductor" wires? Might this conductor still be available in bulk rolls?Just curious . . .NTX5467
Fr. Buick
From what I can tell, they are metalic wire.
